The Z170REG-1 is a DC duplicator that accepts a universal input signal and converts it to 2 independent voltage (0 to 10V) and/or current (0 to 20mA active/passive) signals.

Part of Seneca's Z-LINE, the Z170REG-1 is mounted on a 35mm DIN rail and provides a thin build for lower space consumption. Connection is simple with removable screw terminals and unit-side labelling and reference. The unit features a Nylon 6 30% glass fibre case, providing IP20 rating protection.

The signal converter offers the possibility to choose from a range of different inputs, including: voltage, current, potentiometer, thermocouple or thermoresistance (RTD). The power supply, input and output are isolated from each other to 1.500Vac for additional safety and security.

The Z170REG-1 has a micro USB connector on the front panel and can be configured by software via free PC software or a the Seneca EASY Setup app, available for Android smartphones. The unit can also be configured using embedded dip switches on the side of the unit, with instructions and labels printed on the side of the unit for ease of configuration.
